The Journal of Sustainability Business is released following the conditions outlined in the Creative Commons Attribution-BY license. The authors maintain ownership of the copyright for their respective works. Users are granted the privilege to access, reproduce, and distribute the material through any medium on the condition that proper acknowledgment is given to both the authors and the journal.
LICENSE TO PUBLISH
License
The Creative Commons Attribution license, available at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/, will govern the non-commercial use of the article. This license permits users to distribute, remix, modify, and build upon the licensed work, even for commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given to the original author.
Author's Representations
The author affirms that the article is original, authored by the stated author(s), has not been previously published, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe upon the rights of others, is solely owned by the author with no third-party rights involved, and that any necessary permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author(s).
User Rights
Under the Creative Commons Attribution license, both the author(s) and users are granted the freedom to share (copy, distribute, and transmit) the contribution.
Rights of Authors
Authors retain certain rights, including copyright and other proprietary rights associated with the article, such as patent rights. They have the right to utilize the substance of the article in future works, including lectures and books. Authors also have the right to reproduce the article for personal purposes, as long as the copies are not offered for sale. Furthermore, authors have the right to self-archive the article.
Co-Authorship
If the article has multiple authors, the undersigned author guarantees that they have been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf. The undersigned author also agrees to inform their co-authors about the terms of this agreement.
Termination
Either the author or The Journal of Sustainability Business Practices has the right to terminate this agreement with a notice period of two months in the event of a material breach by the other party. The breaching party will have one month to rectify the breach upon receiving notice. Automatic termination of this agreement or any license granted within it will not occur due to any breach or violation. The definition of The Journal of Sustainability Business Practices will not be affected by any breach or violation.
Royalties
The author will not receive any royalties or fees as a result of this agreement. To the extent permitted by law, the author waives the right to collect royalties for the article regarding its use by The Journal of Sustainability Business Practices or its sublicensee.
Miscellaneous
Upon successfully completing the article's editorial process and the obligation of The Journal of Sustainability Business Practices or its sublicensee to publish the article, The Journal of Sustainability Business Practices will publish it in the Journal. The Journal of Sustainability Business Practices may adjust punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and usage following its preferred style. The author acknowledges that the article will be published publicly accessible and free of charge for readers. The Journal of Sustainability Business Practices is authorized to sublicense the rights granted under this agreement.
